ZAAPTV Product Warranty:
Limited Warranty. ZAAPTV warrants to you that, for a period of 1 year from the date of the purchase by the original end-user purchaser (the “Warranty Period”), your ZAAPTV Product and the Accessories will be substantially free of hardware defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Your exclusive remedy and ZAAPTV 's entire liability under this warranty will be for ZAAPTV at its sole option to repair or replace the Product or Accessories or refund your purchase price less any rebates. This limited warranty extends only to the original end-user purchaser.

ZAAPTV Warranty Policy & Procedures:
1. Get RMA Number from ZAAPTV.
If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, contact ZAAPTV Support as set forth on www.zaaptv.com in order to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, if applicable. BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE ON HAND WHEN CALLING. RETURN REQUESTS CANNOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE.

2. Return the RMA Unit:
If you are requested to return the Product, mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package and include a copy of your original proof of purchase. You are responsible for shipping defective product to ZAAPTV or the certified reseller.

3. Terms and conditions to avail the warranty:
3A. If the new unit you purchased from our website has a hardware fault and does not work on arrival, ZAAPTV will replace the box at no cost and will pay the shipping both ways.
3B. If there is a hardware or software fault with in the warranty period of 1 year, ZAAPTV will fix or replace the unit with the refurbished at no cost. You are responsible for shipping defective product to ZAAPTV or the certified reseller. ZAAPTV or the certified reseller do not pay for shipping from ZAAPTV or the certified reseller back to you only.
3C. If the hardware is damaged in any way (warranty void, tampered with or anything broken), no warranty will be honored. If you want the broken unit back, you will pay for shipping from ZAAPTV or the certified reseller to you and an inspection fees of $50.
3D. In case You send us a working product with out any issues during the warranty period, ZAAPTV will charge you $50 as inspection fees. You are responsible for shipping defective product to ZAAPTV. ZAAPTV do not pays for shipping from ZAAPTV back to you.
3E. Customers are always responsible for all shipping and handling charges.

Limitation on Warranty:
This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non- ZAAPTV products; (b) to damage caused by accident, misuse, being subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by ZAAPTV; (d) if the product has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance with instructions supplied by ZAAPTV; (e) to a product or part that has been modified, except by ZAAPTV; (f) to consumable parts, such as batteries; (g) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports, that does not otherwise affect the product’s functionality or materially impair your use; (h) if any ZAAPTV serial number has been removed or defaced; or (i) if the warranty sticker has been removed or altered.

All ZAAPTV receiver support the RCA audio output(stereo). It also supports audio through HDMI. The HD409N also support SPDIF.

10, How much network bandwidth is required for proper operation of ZAAPTV receiver?
At least 5 Mbps connection is required from your internet service provider.


11, Do I need a router, and which one?
A router is needed when you want to connect more then one device (PC and ZAAPTV receiver) to your internet connection. Router will connect between your modem and ZAAPTV receiver or PC. Most routers these days are wireless type. This means you can place ZAAPTV receiver in a different room from where your router is and connect wireless to your network by using the optional wireless USB adapter. Wireless routers recommended are of 802.11n type from manufacturers Linksys or Netgear. How do I connect the ZAAPTV receiver to the Internet? You could connect the ZAAPTV receiver in one of two ways. Wired or wireless. For wired connection, connect your included Ethernet cable to a free port on the router. For wireless, connect the ZAAPTV receiver USB wireless adapter to the USB port of the ZAAPTV receiver at the rear and follow the on-screen instructions or on the on screen menu select Settings-> Network-> run Wireless Wizard.

14, Which external wireless USB adapter does ZAAPTV receiver support?
Only the branded ZAAPTV USB wireless 802.11g and 802.11n adapter.

You could power cycle the ZAAPTV receiver by pressing the Power button on the remote for 8 seconds or you could disconnect the power adapter input and reconnect after few seconds.

21, How do I change the size of the video playback window?
Use the Func +/- buttons on the remote to increase or decrease the video playback window size.

22, How do I download and save a movie?
ZAAPTV receiver has no storage of its own, so simply connect a USB flash drive or a FAT32 formatted USB external hard drive to either of the USB ports at the back of ZAAPTV receiver.

23, What if I cannot see the ZAAPTV receiver user interface after I connect the ZAAPTV receiver?
Make sure that the TV input is set to the port where the ZAAPTV receiver video cable or HDMI (HD) is connected. Also for the HD ZAAPTV receiver make sure that during set up, the HDMI cable was connected before the power cable.
